Charlotte wept buckets at the end of this match - in keeping with Flair WrestleMania tradition - due in-part to the response the result received. Asuka witnessed her near 1000-day undefeated streak burned to a cinder, just as 'The Queen's had a month before WrestleMania the prior year.

To her credit, 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' entered in to her uncertain future without an obvious boo-boo face. The pair worked a match-of-the-night contender early doors, with the prestige of the title and Asuka's unbeaten record well serviced by such an outstanding encounter.
