5 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW Dark (Aug 25)

2. Nyla Rose vs. KiLynn King

It feels like the Nyla Rose/Vickie Guerrero alliance was forgotten about as soon as the latter debuted as 'The Native Beast's' manager, with Rose not working a single Dynamite match since then. Last night was only her second bout with Guerrero by her side, period, and it was married by shoddy execution against an enhancement talent whose performances have varied greatly since she was brought into the rotation.

One great-looking Samoan Drop aside, this wasn't particularly convincing. The finish was the most egregious part, with Vickie shoving King from the top rope, allowing Nyla to hit her Beast Bomb. This might get heat in an attended arena, but Rose has a two-minute handicap win over King and Kenzie Paige to her name already. Why would she need the interference here?
