Austin Theory lost a singles match to Finn Balor Monday night, but this isn’t a negative saying that his momentum was derailed or something like that. Instead, it told an actual story about Theory still on a quest to impress Vince McMahon, but falling back into a bad habit.

The rookie made the mistake of showing off before he had won, grabbing his cell to take a selfie after hitting a seated springboard Spanish Fly on Balor. However, Finn reversed the pin attempt, escaped an ATL and nailed a shotgun dropkick and Coup de Grace for the win.

Theory’s youth and inexperience cost him dearly, and then he’d have to go back to Mr. McMahon to eat a ton of crow after losing. That alone makes this worth seeing – until we actually saw it. Oh well…
