5 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (Feb 1)

2. Another Costume Change

Another week, another Alexa Bliss match, another series of mid-match costume changes.

This time, Bliss faced former tag partner Nikki Cross, who kept yelling that they were best friends, but she had moved on before this match was made. Alexa kept fixing her hair and outfit, treating the match like a joke as she hopscotched before kicking Nikki. Suddenly, her old entrance music hit and Bliss was “transformed” into her former self, the version who teamed with Cross. Then she turned back to the childlike Alexa, who nailed a Sister Abigail for the win.

It’s all just such a strange storyline that doesn’t really make any sense, and it isn’t all that entertaining either. In fact, it’s downright dumb at this point. If you were facing Bliss, why would you even hang around? Just walk away and take the count-out loss rather than getting involved in that insanity.

It’s not clear where this is headed, and even so, it’s just a strange (but not fantastic) voyage through Alexa’s wardrobe.
