Omos AKA the best wrestler in the world

AJ Styles and Omos finally returned to Raw on Monday night, saying they had been off partying and celebrating their tag title win. They were called out for it, but they also showed that they had earned it.

New Day bashed the new champs for winning one match and then taking a month off, with Kofi Kingston noting that when he won the WWE Championship, he showed up on Raw the next night – even though he wasn’t on that show. Kofi and Xavier Woods gave respect to Omos, but pledged to win back their titles for the 12th time.

And then the match unfolded, with Omos demolishing the duo to start before accidentally tagging out to AJ, who played heel in peril until he could get his personal colossus back into the contest. Omos ran over both Kofi and Xavier until Styles nailed a Phenomenal Forearm for the win.

It was a pretty dominant performance overall, and that should hopefully allow the tag champs to move on to new challengers… whoever that might be.
