The moment Shane McMahon announced Braun Strowman versus Bobby Lashley, with Strowman earning a spot in the WWE Championship match next week if he wins, you felt like it was a foregone conclusion.

Man, how wrong we were.

Lashley ran through Braun in a short hoss match, with both men hitting each other with power moves galore. The All Mighty kicked out of a Braun powerslam, then hit his spinebuster and spear to take out Strowman. Afterward, he cinched in the Hurt Lock just to leave no doubt, then he caught a charging Miz with a spinebuster and spear to drive the point home.

If we’re not looking at the next WWE Champion, something is seriously wrong.
