5 Ups And 1 Down From Last Night's NXT
3. Domo Arigato! Mr Legado!

The inch-perfect booking of El Legado as a stable continues this week with the group's second outing as a trio and, comfortably, the best match we've seen since the end of the Cruiserweight Championship Tournament. It was always going to be crucial that Wilde and Mendoza were presented as dangerous in their own right and, on this showing, they are.
The overall fluidity and quality of this match shouldn't be a surprise either. Breezango are far better in-ring than their fun vibe would have you think, Swerve is one of the brand's most exciting performers, and El Legado as a trio are comprised of, arguably, WWE's best two-eyed Lucha performers. It flowed superbly, gave us some really inventive spots and, with the confusion over the finish even ended with a big match feel.
Swerve having the group beat, only for the referee to tell him he wasn't legal, leaves the door open for follow-up match against Escobar, with the fact that he was the only man to beat him in the tournament a nicely poised 'rubber match' subplot. In the here and now though, a really enjoyable match.
