When Sami Zayn versus Seth Rollins started, this writer wasn’t holding out hope. Zayn had been portrayed as a loser since his return, and he immediately spent the first segment of the match bailing and running away, mustering zero offense.

But then the duo began clicking, with Rollins injuring his knee and Zayn taking advantage. They battled back and forth, with Rollins ultimately prevailing after hitting two Stomps for the pin. It reminded us that Sami is still a competent wrestler, while Rollins got a needed win – losing here was not an option.

This wasn’t one for the history books, but after the 2.5 hours that preceded it, the main event at least ended the show on an upswing.
