5 Ups And 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (May 2)

2. The Fashion Police Get Ridiculous

Shane McMahon loves celebrating SmackDown as "the land of opportunity," and nobody embodies this phrase more than Breezango at the moment. The duo came out of nowhere to win themselves a Tag Team Title shot last week, and while they'll likely need a few warm-up victories ahead of their match with The Usos, their mini-push has been a blast thus far.

Last night saw Tyler Breeze and Fandango produce an absurd comedy segment in which the 'Fashion Police' ran through their future opponents, and issued multiple charges against "The Uggos." These included disorderly conduct for "that ugly dance they used to do during their entrance," and visual assault, because in the words of Fandango, "their outfits actually hurt my eyes."

It was completely ridiculous, but so is the gimmick. Breezango are perfect in this role, and coupled with their recent involvement in the Southpaw Regional Wrestling series on YouTube, their current push highlights their status as two of WWE's most underused performers. They might not defeat The Usos, but here's hoping their run continues, as their goofy little segment was one of SmackDown's most enjoyable components last night.
