5 Ups And 2 Downs From WCPW Loaded Episode 7
2. Up - A Heated Main Event
It was soon time for the main event, where Big Damo would defend the WCPW World Heavyweight Championship against Aron Stevens. After two weeks of hype, the former WWE star would get his shot at the title.
The match was another good contest, with Stevens doing his best to take it to the fearsome Damo. He made a big comeback with a Russian legsweep and the Cubito Aequet, but soon after, the run-ins started. Adam Blampied, who came down to the ring with Damo, got out of his wheelchair and attacked Stevens once the referee got bumped, then Prospect followed.
Joe Hendry and Joseph Conners ran in for the save, neutralizing Prospect, but Blampied was still out there. He tried to hit Stevens with a chair, and while the challenger was able to fight him off, Damo came in with the attack. He hit Stevens with a pair of Piledrivers, then scored the pin as the referee came back to his senses.
The match may have had a disappointing finish, but it was a good contest with a lot of heat - a worthy main event.
