You know that when Daniel Bryan talks about wanting to steal your moves for his own, you’ve done something right.

Zack Sabre Jr., one of the favorites in the tournament, earned a hard-fought victory over Tyson Dux on Wednesday’s episode, busting out a series of counters and submission moves, winning by submission with a Jim Breaks armbar in which he bent the fingers back to prevent Dux from grabbing the rope.

Throughout the match, Bryan gushed over Sabre’s smooth counters to Dux’s holds, transitioning from targeting one body part to another. Sabre didn’t unload his arsenal in this first-round match, but you’ve got to believe he’ll bust out more stuff in future rounds. And you can bet that Bryan will revel in those moves as well.

Solid CWC debut for Sabre that just makes you want to see him again and what else he can do.
