5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE UK Show
7. Up: Long Matches
Sans the kick-off matches, we saw not much more than two hours wrestling at last month's Orlando show-piece - and when you consider that we're talking about an event longer than the collective Lord of The Rings trilogy (it felt like it, anyway) that's really not good enough.
Last night's UK show was altogether compact, each of its matches given enough time to tell a compelling story, befool the fans with conjoined-twins-close near-falls and, ultimately, give TV-starved competitors the rare opportunity to showcase their talent.
Before we go expecting Sunday's show to follow suit, let's remember that NXT and its derivatives are events specifically geared towards wrestling's more committed (read: nerdier) fans.
