5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night’s WWE NXT (Mar 16)
4. The King Of Strong Style
Sami Zayn wasn't on hand to promote his TakeOver match with Shinsuke Nakamura, but NXT stepped up to fill the void with a clip package that made "The King of Strong Style" look like a major star. The company was at a disadvantage in producing it given that they don't own the rights to any of Nakamura's previous matches. They have used some photos from Ring of Honor on their website before, but for this video, they chose to go the simple route, showing clips of the press conference where the former IWGP Intercontinental Champion's signing was announced. Also included was footage of Nakamura's first trip to WWE headquarters, a clip of the video William Regal showed last week when announcing his debut, and of course, Nakamura "YeaOh"-ing in an NXT ring. Many NXT fans are probably already familiar with Shinsuke Nakamura, but those who weren't can likely be counted among the converted.
