5 Ups And 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Jan 14)

2. Post-Match Chokeslam Through Table Looks Awesome

The match may have ended before fans could really get a taste for it, but one post-match bump provided a memorable moment on Smackdown. After The Dudley Boyz had defeated Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in a tag-team Tables Match, The Wyatt Family needed to get their heat back on the babyfaces. This was achieved via a spectacular stunt and Bubba Ray sacrificing his body. Hovering around ringside during the bout, Braun Strowman attacked after the decision and laid out The Dudley Boyz. Joining their stable mate, Harper and Rowan then crashed Bubba Ray through a pair of tables from the announce desk. The Double Chokeslam looked brilliant, and the move made The Wyatts look malevolent and helped them gloss over the loss. It remains to be seen what WWE have in store for The Wyatt Family come WrestleMania, not even their leader Bray Wyatt appears to have a solid program lined up for the big show. For now, Harper and Rowan will bask in the afterglow of a job well done, although that match still should have been longer. The post-match bump did satisfy though.
