5 Ups And 3 Downs From UFC 246

6. Pettis' Fall

It's always quite difficult to watch a legendary fighter fall from grace, but that's exactly what we're seeing from Anthony Pettis at the moment. The 32-year old was completely manhandled by Carlos Diego Ferreira, getting taken to the ground on multiple occasions before being finished with a neck crank along the cage.

Although it's probably not the right time for Pettis to put down the gloves and retire, it might be time for fight fans to truly consider the fact that he might not be the top fighter he was once. The former WEC & UFC lightweight champion hasn't quite looked like the fighter that MMA fans fell in love with when he was jumping off the cage and kicking opponents in the face for awhile.

While it might be hard to think of him as anything less than a top-10 ranked fighter, it truly seems like we're watching Pettis going into the last phase of his illustrious career.
