5 Ups And 3 Downs From UFC 246

1. Average Aleksa

Following a sensational flying knee knockout on Dana White's Contender Series, the hype train behind Aleksa Camur began to pick up steam relatively quickly. Along with a strong endorsement from teammate and UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic, many believed he would announce himself in a big way in his Octagon debut.

While the 24-year old was able to win his first fight in the UFC against light heavyweight journeyman, Justin Ledet, it certainly wasn't the performance he was hoping for. Camur managed to sneak out a victory. but didn't land the knockout blow that so many expected from him. He also seemed to suffer from Octagon jitters, winging shots wildly at Ledet and leaving himself unnecessarily open.

It would be harsh to to completely cast Camur aside and say that the hype isn't deserved at all. There's definitely some talent there. However, it's quite clear that he's still very green and needs as much time as possible to make the most out of his potential.
