The most baffling thing about Smackdown is when WWE elect not to continue major storylines in a satisfactory manner. This week, the recipient of that kind of booking was the issue between Paige and Charlotte. On Monday Night Raw, the Divas were given the main event slot of the show to conduct a Contract Signing skit. In baffling fashion, that was glossed over on Smackdown. There's a lot of social media chatter about the controversial inclusion of Reid Flair's name during the Raw promo. A lot of fans feel WWE shouldn't have involved someone who had passed on, certainly not in such a derogatory fashion. Whatever fans think of the situation, Smackdown didn't offer any further insight. It was almost as though the incident hadn't even happened. Charlotte bounded out for her bout against Brie Bella with a smile on her face. That was a mistake, she should have been seething about what Paige had said, or at least shaken and unable to concentrate. Worse yet, Paige brushed off Renee Young during a backstage interview, refusing to talk about her shocking comments on Raw. It wasn't shrewd for WWE to ignore something that is the main crux of the Divas Title feud so close to Survivor Series.
