3. R-Truth Gets Confused
Usually, WWE's own brand of comedy tends to fall a little flat. It's common for the company to try and force humour, rather than simply letting it come across as organic. That wasn't the case on Smackdown, which played host to a genuinely funny piece of acting from R-Truth. To the man's credit, the live crowd were in stitches over his blissfully-unaware character. Bursting in on the 'Miz TV' segment that involved the Semi Finalists for Survivor Series, Truth looked mean and like he was all business. The announcers sold the situation perfectly, wondering why the guy was even out there in the first place. In front of Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, The Miz, Alberto Del Rio and Kevin Owens, R-Truth cut a promo stating that he would mow them all down and be the next WWE Champion. The Miz then reminded him that he wasn't involved in the WWE Title tournament, and thus couldn't win it. Realising his error, Truth then shouted out, 'my bad', before wishing Reigns and Ambrose the best of luck. Hilariously, he neglected to wish the heels the same, and left to applause from the audience. This was the kind of madcap thing that R-Truth does very well, and it added some much-needed light relief to the situation.
