5 Ups And 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 19)

2. Braun Strowman's Development Continues

It's becoming more and more clear that WWE are preparing Braun Strowman for something big. On Smackdown, it was revealed that he would be the one teaming with Bray Wyatt to take on The Undertaker and Kane at Survivor Series. That match is clearly designed to give the monstrous man some experience of working inside the ring with 'The Brothers Of Destruction', specifically The Undertaker. There are rumours that Strowman will face 'Taker at WrestleMania 32. For many, this would be a comedown for Undertaker, especially if this is set to be his last match on that grand stage. However, if WWE have set their sights on Braun going face-to-face with such a legend, it's a smart idea to give him as much mic time and character development as possible. Unlike Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman doesn't need to cut lengthy diatribes about his intentions. Instead, he should be keeping things short and sweet, just like he did on Smackdown this week. The 'Black Sheep' isn't going to win any awards for 'Promo Of The Year' with his delivery, but this is pretty much on-the-job training for the big guy. Whether or not people agree that it's working, it's the best way to do things right now.
