2. Paige's Character Makes Team PCB Look Like Idiots
Already, the excitement over Paige's shoot-style promo has started to die down. It seems WWE booked the situation without really knowing where they were going with the story. If they do have a clear path in mind, it isn't one that's helping anybody else involved. Both Charlotte and Becky Lynch look stupid at the moment, because they're falling for the heel's bag of tricks. Apologetic to their faces, Paige is slyly sticking it to her former teammates behind their backs. On Smackdown, this came in the form of attacking Natalya backstage, yet helping Charlotte and Becky fend off Team Bella. Earlier in the show, Paige had apologised to Natalya too, but it's pretty obvious that she was the one behind the backstage ambush. The actual attack wasn't shown, but it's no real mystery. The current lineup of the Diva division is a little strange. Paige is a confusing character, Sasha Banks doesn't get featured much, The Bella Twins look like afterthoughts, and Charlotte's WWE Diva Title win has already been glossed over. This new story, also involving Natalya, requires a lot more planning.
