5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (March 19)

1. Cena Carries Budding Feud

With only three weeks until WrestleMania, it seems odd that the man who has been synonymous with WWE’s marquee event has not confirmed his participation yet.

But even though the Undertaker isn’t being described as in or out yet, his presence is being filled by his potential opponent, John Cena. Cena called out Taker last week and demanded an answer, which he didn’t get. So he called UT a coward.

Only Cena could get away with that sort of thing. And it makes him the aggressor, trying to draw Undertaker out of the shadows, so when the Deadman finally does respond, it’ll feel natural rather than delayed, late booking. Kudos to Cena.

A match like this probably could have been made a month ago and carried a lot of the build and excitement for Mania, but instead it’s a midcard attraction match behind two world title bouts, a mixed tag match featuring Ronda Rousey and whatever Shane McMahon ends up doing.
