Even though the Survivor Series elimination match is Team Cena versus Team Authority, its been Dolph Ziggler who has been taking the brunt of the punishment and some of the sharpest criticism from Triple H. This is either a badly foreshadowed burial of the Intercontinental Champion, or its a Daniel Bryan-esque way of rallying fans to Zigglers side. Seeing that Cena directly referenced Bryan in that regard, this could mean that good things are on the horizon. Ziggler was the first guy to step up onto Team Cena and has been hit with punishment matches each week, and Triple H has constantly mocked Dolph for his size and perception that theres a glass ceiling in WWE. While Triple H putting down talent is a norm we all have come to expect as he pushes others down the card, this is a really productive way to build Ziggler up, as Hunter is playing the boss, taking potshots at Dolph as he stands up to the Authority. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAx0GjHI0jg Dolph getting decent camera time in a main event angle with the chief villains all sound like the recipe for success, but it will remain to be seen whether that continues past Survivor Series in less than two weeks.
