5 Ups And 5 Downs From NXT 400
4. SAnitY, Especially Killian Dain
NXT's SAnitY faction, a three-man and one-woman band of violent nutcases, is a useful tool for a booker since they can be thrown into a feud with just about anyone.
Leader Eric Young looks genuinely unhinged and Alexander Wolfe is the team whipping boy who can get battered and pinned without weakening the other members. Killian Dain is a bona fide big man wrecking ball and Nikki Cross is always excellent as a cackling harpy who is the maddest of the lot of them.
SAnitY look at first glance like a utility group, to give NXT's nascent babyfaces something to do. But Killian Dain is an odd man out, brought in to the team relatively recently, protected as a full-on monster and even given a sniff of the main roster at the Andre The Giant Battle Royale.
Baron Corbin took a similar route to the big time and the huge Belfast ogre Dain looks like he's being prepped for the same treatment. Whether he'll have success there is another matter but in terms or presence and look he compares favourably to Corbin and he'd certainly be a very different addition to the main roster.
