5 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (September 24)

3. The Feud Must Continue… Again

As can often be the case, WWE clearly doesn’t know when it’s time to move on from a feud.

In this situation, we saw Chad Gable square off in singles action against Konnor of The Ascension. Unlike his victory over Viktor last week, Gable lost to Konnor this time, putting the former Olympian in a position of needing this little feud that won’t die to continue longer.

Remember, this comes after Gable and Bobby Roode defeated the Ascension twice in a row, so we’re now retreading over this rivalry and turning what was a dominating start into a 50/50 booking of sorts to prolong things.

Again, why can’t WWE just book local talent to take the quick loss to Roode and Gable? Let them steamroll a couple different jabronis each week to get their act over a bit rather than trading singles wins with a team they’ve already defeated multiple times.
