What else can you saw about the Usos in a tag title match? They’ve got a formula to have really good matches with just about any opponent, and the Brawling Brutes were no exception.

No one really was buying Butch & Ridge Holland to be the ones to upend the Usos’ 462-day reign, but they still pulled off a few near-falls amongst the action. The Brutes even had a couple callbacks to their running buddy Sheamus, who was injured by the Bloodline a couple weeks back. Holland nailed a White Noise for near-fall that was really their best chance.

In the end though, the Usos won with a blind tag and an avalanche 1D on Butch, sending them on a collision course with the New Day on next week’s SmackDown. If the Usos beat them, then they’ll surpass New Day’s record for a WWE tag title reign. That’s the real story here. This was really more of a pit stop, but an entertaining one nonetheless.
