5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Madison Square Garden 2015

3. Directionless Heels

Saturday€™s event was simply a televised house show, so it€™s understandable that you would see the good guys with their hands raised more often than not. But that still is no excuse for how Sheamus and Rusev were left flailing in their tag match against Randy Orton and Dolph Ziggler. Sheamus, who should be a world champion at some point in the next eight months due to his Money in the Bank briefcase, ate the loss again. Then Rusev grabbed the mic and started berating him for losing, and the Celtic Warrior hit him with a Brogue Kick, making the Bulgarian Brute look more than like a goof. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apa1SBvy88w The bigger problem here is that there are no real monster heels right now in WWE, so having two guys who could be serious villains get neutered repeatedly like Sheamus and Rusev have been just highlights the problem. Saturday€™s tag match wasn€™t offensive on its own, but it just furthered the issue.
