5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Madison Square Garden 2015
UPS
5. Heyman Stays Connected
In case you missed it (and shame on you if you did), Paul Heyman updated his old Paul E. Dangerously character a little Saturday night. Dangerously was known for carrying that old (well, new at the time) brick cell phone to ringside, which often would be used on opponents during matches. In a backstage interview with Renee Young before his clients match, Heyman repeated waved around not one, but two cell phones in his right hand. Interestingly enough, one was an iPhone and the other was an Android. Heymans been seen with a cell phone in hand in recent years, but there was something about being in his hometown that made it a little more pointed. And as usual, Heymans promo was absolutely outstanding, firing up the crowd and hyping the imminent match.
