5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Raw After WrestleMania 36

1. A Better Title Match Than The Actual Main Event

Who would have thought that Big Show would outperform Brock Lesnar at this stage in his career?

In a weird move, WWE had Drew McIntyre cut an in-ring promo shortly after beating Brock for the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 36. He was interrupted by Big Show, who goaded McIntyre into putting the title on the line in a bonus match that was aired as Raw’s main event the following night, which itself was a cool touch.

But then Show and McIntyre proceeded to have a little match, with Show delivering his second-rope Vader Bomb elbow drop, and then McIntyre countering a chokeslam by slamming the giant. Drew then kicked out of a chokeslam, ducked a KO punch and nailed a Claymore kick to put Show down.

It wasn’t any great shakes, but it actually was more of a match than Lesnar/McIntyre before it. So there’s that.
