5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Raw After WrestleMania 36

1. Yokozuna Says ‘Hi’

It’s impossible to ever take the announcers seriously when they say something incredibly stupid like they did Monday night.

During the end of Raw, we saw Big Show come out after WrestleMania 36 Sunday night and goad Drew McIntyre into putting his newly won WWE Championship on the line, and the match was aired Monday night.

This prompted Byron Saxton to stupidly comment how we’ve never seen a guy win a title at WrestleMania and then put the title on the line just minutes later. Tom Phillips even got in on the action, calling it an “unprecedented test” for a champion to win a title and immediately defend it.

Um… Yokozuna? WrestleMania 9?

At that PPV, Yoko defeated Bret Hart in the main event to win the WWF Championship, then immediately put it on the line against Hulk Hogan, who beat him in seconds to win the title.

Seriously guys, the WWE Network has every WWE PPV available and is only $9.99 a month. If you can’t afford it, surely fans will take up a collection for you.
