5 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Survivor Series 2016

1. Nia Jax Taps?

Wait, are you sh*tting us?

An “up” item was being prepared to praise WWE for turning Nia Jax into a monster after she ran through the entire SmackDown roster, one at a time. It was a brilliant move, letting them tag in and then destroy them. Nia double-suplexed Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss. They were getting Jax over as a force to be reckoned with.

And then Nia tapped out to Becky’s Disarm-Her.

Let that roll around in your head for a minute. Jax is undefeated in WWE. She was being portrayed as a monster who couldn’t just beat up jobbers, but the best wrestlers on SmackDown as well. And she tapped out to an armbar.

No disrespect to Becky, but Nia should have had to have her arm broken before losing her first fall. There were a bunch of different ways they could have eliminated her without having her lose: countout, DQ, even cheating by SmackDown. This was just a dumb, dumb decision.
