4. Getting Back On Track

The past couple months have seen a feud between Rey Mysterio, Humberto Carrillo, Andrade and Angel Garza spring to life, but also drag along and stall due to injury angles and a real-life suspension.

Monday was the first time all four men were together in the ring, and it showed some potential. Rey and Humberto teamed up to put away Andrade and Angel, with Carrillo moonsaulting the United States Champion for the pin.

The action was good – but not great – and the door is still open to almost any iteration of face/heel pairings, as well as even a respect match between Mysterio and Carrillo. While this wasn’t a great moment, it was the first one of what could be a fun feud that could benefit the younger wrestlers by giving them more exposure.

For this reason, we’ll be optimistic here, even with the US champ taking the pinfall.
