Elimination matches can be a great opportunity to allow competitors to get revenge on an opponent or get some heat before ultimately losing (see Nia Jax in the Raw gauntlet match a few weeks back). But when the eliminations come rapid-fire, it really negates the whole thing.

That’s exactly what we got Sunday night, with three eliminations happening in the span of a minute (keep in mind there were only five competitors, so there were only four pinfalls/submissions that could happen). Becky Lynch tapped out Tamina and Lana in rapid succession, only for Natalya to roll her up for a pin. That left Nattie and Charlotte Flair to go against each other for a couple minutes before the Queen of Hearts won.

It’s a shame, because the match actually wasn’t too bad up to that point, and the Natalya/Charlotte bout at the end had the makings of a good mini-match. But everything felt rushed toward the end, and it kind of cheapened things with the eliminations going bang-bang-bang like that.
