5 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Extreme Rules 2015

6. Missed Opportunity

If WWE is indeed moving toward a feud between Bray Wyatt and Ryback, then Sunday night was a missed opportunity for an interesting development. During the pre-show, Bray cut in on the kickoff panel with his usual cryptic promo at a yet-unnamed opponent, leaving the panel to speculate that Wyatt would reveal his target when he€™s ready. Just before the main event, the directionless Bo Dallas €“ Bray Wyatt€™s real-life brother €“ came out to insult the fans, drawing Ryback out from the back. The Big Guy made short work of Dallas, led the fans in a €œFeed me more€ chant, and that was it. Now, if WWE is pushing the Network this month, you have to assume there are some potential fish on the hook right now, watching Extreme Rules because it€™s free. So why wouldn€™t you kick off a big angle during the PPV? Wyatt comes out and assaults Ryback and saves Dallas, reveals that he is Bray€™s wayward brother and he wants to bring him back into the fold. Bo desperately needs some direction, and Wyatt could use new minions. Anything would€™ve been a better use of time than what we got.
