5 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Money In The Bank 2015

Ups...

5. Dusty Finish

If you didn€™t see this finish coming a mile away, then you haven€™t been paying attention as a wrestling fan. The moment Paige said backstage that her Divas Championship match was €œfor you Dusty,€ you had to know that an infamous Dusty Finish was coming as a €œtribute€ to the late great. Normally, Dusty Finishes are often regarded as horrible booking decisions, leading fans on and frustrating them more than hooking them. When WWE pulled that stunt last month with Dean Ambrose €œwinning€ the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins, it created a feel-good moment for Ambrose, but that was fleeting and Rollins just looks weaker. However, given Dusty Rhodes€™ passing on Thursday, it was a fitting way to pay homage to the former booker. Incorporating the Bella Twins€™ switcharoo trick of €œTwin Magic€ also made perfect sense, given that Nikki Bella won a Divas Championship match against Paige using it. When Paige reversed the small package on Brie, it was only a matter of time before the ref waived the title change off and things went back to the way they were. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gABpDk9RgY Somewhere, Dusty is smiling at seeing his finish get used one more time. And in this case, it furthers Paige€™s argument against the Bellas and her plea to the Divas locker room, so it could serve a real purpose.
