5 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 4)

4. End The Stupidity

Make no mistake: Fans definitely want to see Rusev get his comeuppance and trounce Bobby Lashley to win this feud.

But it’s not because they’re heavily invested in the cuckolding storyline WWE has subjected us to. It’s because they likely want this angle to end. Fans have been behind Rusev for quite some time (despite WWE’s seemingly best efforts to mute that support). But last week’s main event segment was a disaster, and Monday’s antics weren’t much better.

Now we’ve dragged Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton and Ricochet into the issue, with McIntyre fighting Bobby Lashley’s battle because he was “injured,” then just walking off after the DQ. Then when Rusev gets the upper hand, it’s an RKO from outta nowhere. And finally, Ricochet saves the day, and the feud must continue.

Who knows? Maybe this will “save” the feud and make it fun. But the silence during the Rusev/McIntyre match was deafening, as fans must have known what was coming with Lashley faking a “torn groin” from too much sex.

Yeah, that’s a thing that happened too.
