5 Ups And 8 Downs From WWE Stomping Grounds

UPS…

5. Hometown Hero’s Welcome

Stomping Grounds Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan was the only person who really could live up the WWE PPV’s title as a native of nearby Aberdeen, WA.

And the fans certainly didn’t let that slide by unnoticed. Despite being heels, Bryan and Rowan (by association) were cheered heavily while Heavy Machinery were booed every time they attacked D-Bry.

This couldn’t have been unexpected, but it was somewhat comical to hear the fans boo Otis for nearly everything he did while in the ring with Bryan while they chanted things like “Please recycle!” in support of the planet’s tag team champions.

Thankfully, Bryan would get the rollup win, pinning Tucker after he dove to the floor to take out Rowan. Had the hometown boy lost, fans might have really rioted.
