5 Ways AEW Is Outclassing The Competition Right Now
4. Giving Younger Talents The Spotlight
Creating new stars is always a sticking point for companies, as it can be very challenging to build a promotion around wrestlers with no star power, but relying on relics of the past can lead to frustration amongst the audience and unreliable results. Thankfully for AEW, they seem to have found no trouble in generating a vast array of homegrown talent.
If companies like WWE were the absolute norm, then it'd be essentially impossible to become a star in the wrestling world, as you'd eventually be tossed aside like a used toy. However, in AEW, the likes of Darby Allin, MJF, Sammy Guevara and plenty more are able to thrive, despite not having years of experience behind them.
Just take a look at Jungle Boy. He recently faced the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega after winning the Casino Battle Royale. Sure, he didn't win, but he can now officially say that he's been a part of the main event title picture.
If you look at AEW's competition, so few of them are taking risks and allowing less experienced wrestlers to square off against their top stars, so All Elite easily deserves a tonne of credit for that.
