5 Ways Brock Lesnar Can Go Bell To Bell WWE Royal Rumble 2020
4. Biding His Time
The easiest way for Brock to go from number one all the way to the final bell is for him simply to not get in the ring until he feels like getting in the ring, which will be about five seconds before the end of the match. Instead, Brock will pull up a seat at the commentary desk, mention that with Dio Maddin missing there's a spare microphone, and then dare anyone to even try forcing him into the ring, nevermind out again after.
This doesn't mean he won't be involved in the match at all. He'll no doubt spend plenty of time screwing over those who have historically beat him, and have a huge stand-off with an AOP-backed Seth Rollins, at least. You can bet money on Matt Riddle having something to say about him sitting out there, but paying a big price for that opinion. And let's not forget the ridiculously massive amounts of heel heat Brock could pick up by stopping Kofi's traditional miraculous return to the ring.
You can see it, can't you? Kofi is sent flying to the outside but lands on the barrier much as he ended up in 2014. He walks the barrier, jumping an attack by someone who's just been eliminated, gets to the announce table, gets an announcer to give him a chair, and then Brock picks him up and carries him all the way to the top of the aisle, taking out The New Day as he goes, before F5ing Kofi and leaving him officially eliminated. To boos unheard of since Roman Reigns
As the final man is hurled over the top rope and somebody starts to celebrate their victory, a fresh Beast will rise from his comfy chair and enter the ring. And come WrestleMania, we'll finally see the Kofi Kingston versus Brock Lesnar match that we should have had the first time.
