Okay, anything involving more of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon on WWE TV should result in (justified) eye-rolling, but it is another sure-fire way of rehabilitating the Wyatt Family. In my opinion this is exactly how the WWE World Heavyweight Tournament should have gone. Triple H wanted to keep the title in the hands of the Authority, and desperate times call for desperate measures. What showcases the desperate desires of a power-hungry man more than making a pact with the devil? Those with long memories can even run with the idea that the seeds were sown for this two years ago. When Bray Wyatt first turned his attention to Daniel Bryan, he attacked the leader of the Yes! Movement backstage before proclaiming that 'he made me do it' (it may have been 'they', my memory isn't that long). It was never clear who 'he' (or 'they') were, but the obvious answer was Triple H, the man who wanted Bryan as far away from the WWE Title as possible. The Authority no longer needs to be on our TV screens, but if they must be then creating a powerful alliance with the Wyatt Family would do both the world of good. It could also lead perfectly to the clearest and most effective way to rehabilitate Bray and his followers...
Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
