5 Ways WWE Network Is Worth Your Money (And 5 Ways It Isn't)
4. Most Of The WWE Networks Content Is Online Already...
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5i92s_the-great-muta-vs-jinsei-shinzaki-4_sport Despite the industrys best efforts, a heroic handful of uploaders are always putting wrestling online for us fans to share and enjoy. Its free to view, easy to watch and it saves HUGE money on DVD purchases. Want to watch The Great Muta vs. Jinsei Shinzaki, crazy-ass entrances and all? It's on DailyMotion right now and wont cost you a penny to watch. A lot of the WWE Networks content, quite frankly, is already available for free. Whatever you may think of the ethics involved in that statement, you cannot deny its fundamental truth. You can go ahead and watch Savage/Steamboat, Austin/Rock and Rock/Hogan - or even unsung classics like Undertaker/Angle, Bret/Owen and Michaels/Mankind on YouTube RIGHT NOW. FOR FREE. Without paying a penny, you can see Mankind take a tumble from the ceiling of the cell, Ric and Ricky test each other to breaking point, The Dudleys, Edge & Christian and The Hardy Boyz re-define tag team wrestling for a new era and Eddie Guerrero take on Rob Van Dam in a blistering ladder match. The Networks library IS huge, but not as big as the Internet itself, which allows you to re-live ECW classics like Tommy Dreamer and Shane Douglas infamous Singapore cane match, Eddie Guerrero swapping spots with Dean Malenko or Too Cold Scorpio, or Sabus arm ripping, damn near fatal barbed wire bout with Terry Funk. Thing is, the net also has Japanese wrestling, Mexican wrestling, European wrestling, TNA and the indies as well...
I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction.
I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long!
If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it).
I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work.
Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that!
Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?)
Latcho Drom,
