5 Wrestling Podcasts You Need To Listen To This Week

5. MLW Radio (Konnan)

MlwradioradioradioWho?: Konnan is one of the most popular wrestlers in Mexico, and has even been called €œThe Mexican Hulk Hogan.€ He€™s best known for his time in WCW when he joined up with the NWO and later The Wolfpack. He was also in WWE in the early 90s for a very brief period and has been in ECW, TNA, and various other independent wrestling promotions. What€™s It All About: Host Mister Saint Laurent is joined with former WCW star Konnan. While Laurent is the one covering the show, Konnan makes his presence known and both he and Laurent work well together when it comes to trading verbal punches. They go through the mailbag and answer questions from fans, then they cover a wide variety of subjects ranging from professional wrestling present to professional wrestling past to even the most obscure discussions based on what€™s going on in both men€™s lives. Not special guest is on the show for this week. What Topics Are Covered: The scariness of Scott Steiner, AAA wrestling, TNA shenanigans, WCW€™s rumored €œExtreme Project,€ the WCW leprechaun, Jack in the Box meals, Adam Rose as a performer and as a character, MLW Radio becoming a movie, what Vampiro is up to, and all kinds of other topics that range from funny to shocking. Funniest Moment: A very strange question about if WWE would allow Quentin Tarantino to put John Cena in a film as a foul mouth bad guy. Saddest Moment: Hearing about what Eric Bischoff€™s vision of WCW would have been like if Eric had bought the company and knowing that it€™ll never happen now. Recommended If You Like: A show that has no rules with hosts that will talk about whatever they want to talk about. While Konnan isn€™t a regular on the show, there are more than a few episodes with him in it, so if you€™re a Konnan fan you might want to check those other episodes out too. Laurent€™s a good host as well. Flaw of the Show: It€™s really all about questions and answers. The show definitely needed a special guest to change things up.
