Design #5: The Kane Belt
I have saved the worst for last, this version of the WWE Championship has a shield-like red centre with some clip-art flames coming out from the centrepiece. All that's missing from this one are some "go faster" stripes. This is just terrible. Look at it! It is terrible! The only way this could work is if Kane was going for an ber-long title run. Sorry guys, I would prefer the spinner belt over this one. Here is the burning question that I cannot shake: why can't WWE design an attractive looking belt anymore? In times gone by WWE led the way with beautiful and iconic belt designs, belts that imprint into hearts and minds of fans everywhere. And now? Well we have one junk pile after another. We must remember that this is not the first time the WWE Title has been altered. There have been many prominent and unique variations of the championship since its inception, and the one we have now is not the worst. It appears that the current belt isn't great but it is the best we're going to get. It could have been better, but it could have been worse...a lot worse.
