Okay, okay, okay - I am fully aware that Hornswoggle was revealed as the Anonymous RAW General Manager on 9 July 2012. The character returned for one night only in the build up to RAW 1000, with 'Swoggle being revealed as the mastermind behind the emails and Michael Cole's need for our attention.

A former WWE writer revealed that this was a rushed idea as there was never an out for the story. Many have accepted that Hornswoggle was indeed the RAW GM, despite the fact that there is no way that it could have been the little man.

The angle began on 21 June 2010 and ran all the way through until 18 July 2011. Where was Hornswoggle during this time? The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion was actually drafted to SmackDown as part of the 2010 Supplemental Draft - he wasn't even on the right show.

Hornswoggle even acted as the official mascot for Team SmackDown at Bragging Rights 2010. Whilst this could all have been a nefarious plot by 'Swoggle, asking fans to believe it as such is quite a stretch. The Anonymous RAW General Manager was never seen. When the character returned for one night only in 2014 the mystery surrounding its identity returned too.
