5 WWE Superstars Who Really Need To Retire

1. Rey Mysterio

It truly hurts to write his name above, but sometimes the world isn't a kind place. Rey Mysterio has been absent from WWE programming consistently for the last few years. However, according to reports, Mysterio just signed a contract that guarantees he will be with the company until 2015. Mysterio may be healthy enough for one more run in the company that solidified his fame, but he does need one more proper send-off. The future hall of fame-superstar deserves only the best because he gave his body hundreds of times, just to entertain the fans. Of all the wrestlers on this list, as a fan, Mysterio should not be released. His time seems to have come and gone, but as a trainer or worker backstage, that would fully utilize his talents. Mysterio is a great wrestling mind and is still young enough to relate to the fans of the product. One more run for the masked marvel, then maybe it is time for his brain to give back to wrestling, instead of his body.
