5 WWE Superstars Who Could Carry The Undertaker To A Great Match

4. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan The Undertaker
WWE

Daniel Bryan is one of the greatest wrestlers on the planet and has, like 'Taker himself, gifted WWE with many classics throughout his career. However, as his legendary rise to the top came long after 'The Deadman' had entered his part-time phase, the two never got the opportunity to face each other - something WWE could easily rectify if they wanted to.

There are no limits to what Bryan is capable of when he steps between those ropes and, yes, that includes dragging a classic out of 'The Phenom'. The former 'Yes! Man' is no stranger to facing off against bigger opponents and, in doing so, he has managed to pull some surprisingly strong offerings out of them (his Extreme Rules collision with Kane was a lot better than it had any business being).

Like Mysterio, his smaller size and speedy offense would make for an interesting contrast against 'Taker's methodical and powerful approach, and it would also allow the crafty wrestling machine to do all of the eye-catching stuff that he does best, working around 'The Deadman's bursts of power.

As far as storylines go, this one would be relatively easy to book. It's well within Bryan's heel nature to chastise the WWE Universe for their adoration of the legendary Undertaker, given how he branded them "fickle" for turning on him, and this could set the stage for more similarly great promos, with Bryan pulling apart the respectful relationship that the legend shares with his 'Creatures of the Night'.

The real story, however, would take place in the ring as the pair could end up telling quite the tale of in-ring redemption for 'The Phenom'.
