50 Funniest Wrestling Moments Of 2023
10. Eric Bischoff Suffers A First-Degree Burn
Amazing somebody arguing that learning isn't a good thing. The one thing about Eric is, that if we all learned from our mistakes, Eric would in fact be the smartest man in wrestling https://t.co/sMhix8vqhK

Just a sensational way of saying someone is a career idiot in a very amusing way. This was a turn of phrase so beautiful that, were it penned by a screenwriter, it would make those 100 Best Movie Insults videos you see on YouTube.
This was nothing short of the burn of the year.
On second thought...

MASADA is a wife-beating idiot and just set himself on fire pic.twitter.com/N67BbvqmtE

No, the real burn of the year was MASADA setting himself on fire.
Back in April, he missed his target by miles, set fire to himself, and hurriedly tried to stop burning alive. You shouldn't laugh.
But then, you also shouldn't play with fire. Even a foetus knows that.

Some list entries just write themselves I don't know what to tell you
7. Paul Wight Eats S***
Going from Kota Ibushi on the bicycle to Paul Wight getting slammed on the car was one of the wildest 30 seconds of wrestling tv ? pic.twitter.com/xcmHecTT4M

During the Like A Dragon Street Fight on the November 15 Dynamite, Powerhouse Hobbs body-slammed Paul Wight and his candy cane legs onto a bar bonnet. Wight got flattened so thoroughly that he somehow contrived to bump on glass and concrete at the same time.
Cruel?
Yes.
But he's earned ridiculous money for doing the square root of nothing since signing in 2021, so it was overdue really.
6. Minoru Suzuki Is Funnier Than Brian Gewirtz
Minoru Suzuki: "Nagata, your wrestling hasn't been updated for more than 20 years. I'm touring the world by myself, I'm on the cutting edge of wrestling. Your OS is out of date, you need to update. You have Windows 95."https://t.co/A1mY050HQI pic.twitter.com/X2uDZQ8CNP

"You have Windows 95" is such an exceptional insult. It works for how specific it is. Suzuki doesn't frame it as a theoretical scenario, i.e. "You're so old, you still use Windows 95". He literally said Yuji Nagata uses Windows 95, conjuring a mental image of a despairing, doddering Nagata booting off at how slow his computer is.
