Hardcore wrestling matches from a decade ago often dont hold up in todays wrestling environment as theyve been toned down drastically in light of concussions and other safety-related reasons. The really good ones though, stand the test of time and are still brutal fun. The match itself featured Edge spearing a barbed wire-clad Foley (unbeknownst to Edge), Mr. Socko wearing barbed wire and a flaming table spot. The match was gruesome without being gratuitous.
