50 Worst WCW Moments Ever

43. The Black Scorpion’s Entrance

Take a look at Ric Flair's grumpy mug.

The 'Nature Boy' went under a mask to play the Black Scorpion at Starrcade 1990, and he looked less-than-chuffed about it. Flair wrestled old foe Sting in a rematch from their Great American Bash classic, and they sh*t the bed. Being fair, Ric and the Stinger were up against it from the off.

The Scorpion idea lacked menace, and the bizarre space ship entrance WCW produced for Flair's alter ego made him seem like an alien from another planet. Someone should've told WWE to mimic this nonsense when they were obsessed with cinematic matches mid-pandemic in 2020.
