6 Directions WWE Money In The Bank Winner Sheamus Can Go

Sheamus has a guaranteed shot at the WWE Championship - but what's next?

In a result that surprised many, it was Sheamus who won the coveted Money In The Bank briefcase at Sunday's Pay Per View. While many had Roman Reigns pencilled in to receive the guarantee of a title shot, the WWE threw a curveball (the latest of many in recent months) and awarded it to the Dublin native. As experienced and capable a worker as Sheamus is, the decision is likely to be received poorly by fans across the board. His previous main event programmes have been largely considered underwhelming, whether as a babyface or heel, even during the brand split era - a time in which lesser workers were afforded more chances to shine. Luckily for the big Irishman, time is on his side. The briefcase holder theoretically has up to a year to build momentum en route to their title shot, an arrangement which has served previous winners Edge, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler well. Here are six possible directions for the latest Mr Money In The Bank in the aftermath of his surprise victory...
