6 Directions WWE Money In The Bank Winner Sheamus Can Go

3. Facing The Returning Lesnar

Lesnar is set for a collision course with Seth Rollins whether the WWE Champion likes it or not - that much is certain. The Authority's handpicked favourite screwed Brock out of his title at WrestleMania 31 without even pinning him, a transgression a beast as destructive as Brock is unlikely to let slide. However, it makes sense that the Authority would do everything in their power to avoid a Lesnar/Rollins clash, leaving him with the only possible option of attempting to prise the Money In The Bank briefcase out of Sheamus' hands. A Brock vs Sheamus feud would be fresh, if not exactly the most spine-tingling of encounters, and provide the Celtic Warrior with a chance to truly prove himself against a far more respected (and feared) foe. Admittedly, booking Sheamus to defeat Brock would probably be a suicidal move on the WWE's part, especially given the tear Lesnar has been on since resigning with the promotion. A far more popular alternative would be to somehow engineer a match between the two for the briefcase, and have Brock utterly decimate the Irishman. Not the best option from Sheamus' point of view, of course, but perhaps a wise angle with the greater good in mind.
